LEVELS
LEVEL 1. BEGINNER 1 PERFECTIONING – from 6 years old
Learning to swim for the first time in a small or large pool depending on buoyancy and ease in the water. In general, we start with backstroke.
LEVEL 2. PSYCHO AQUA – 4 to 5 years
Getting used to the water, learning the basics of swimming through play and fun. Learn to swim with adapted equipment in the small pool and in complete safety.
Objective: to be at ease on the back with or without a board.
LEVEL 3: INITIATION – From 6 years old (non-swimmer)
Learn buoyancy and basic technique to propel yourself with or without a board. In general, we start with backstroke.
Objective: to gain confidence in the water in the large pool, to be able to move alone over several metres (25 metres).
LEVEL 4. DEEP WATER ADAPTATION – from 6 years old
Starting with backstroke, learn the backstroke technique in the deep end of the pool.
Objective: to be comfortable and totally independent on the backstroke + start learning a second stroke (crawl).
LEVEL 5. PERFECTIONING – Adults and children
Learning of the 3 swims (backstroke/crawl/breaststroke) in different lanes according to the level. Children and adults are separated. The swimmer, child or adult, is independent in the water.
Objective: Development of technique, fluidity + work on propulsion in the water and management of a fixed distance.
LEVEL 6. PERFECTIONING ” PLUS ” – Adults and children
Learning of the 4 swims (backstroke/crawl/breaststroke/buttress) in different lanes according to the level. Children and adults are separated. The swimmer, child or adult, is independent in the water.
Objective: To be comfortable in all 4 strokes
LEVEL 7. ENDURANCE & LIFEGUARD NOTIONS – Adults & Teens and Children
You must be comfortable in at least 3 swims!
Objective: to be able to swim longer distances while working on effort management, breathing, strokes, etc. We teach the basics of lifesaving. (examples: saving a person in difficulty / first aid notions)
